Suffolk County Community College has started
classes in its new Workforce Development
Technology Center for educating and training
students for the installation and maintenance of
HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The facility
contains approximately 18,000 sq. ft. and is
comprised of classrooms, instructional labs and a
training mechanical room as well as support
functions. The finished facility is on track to
achieve LEED Gold Certification criteria in
accordance with the USGBC.
